Abhishek Kumar

Abhishek is a Managing Director and the Head for Global Strategies for EMEA and APAC within the Fixed Income Beta Team. He is responsible for developing new strategies and solutions for clients in EM debt and Global Debt strategies like Global Aggregate and Global Treasury. He is also the lead portfolio manager for EM debt, managing both hard currency and local currency EM funds. He joined SSGA in September 2010. Prior to joining the investment management team, Abhishek spent three years at ICICI Bank UK PLC managing global credit portfolios. Abhishek holds a Masters in Management from ESCP Europe Paris, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Equivalent to MBA) from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, India and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. He is a CFA charter holder and is a member of the CFA Society UK and the CFA Institute.
