Brigitte Posch is Head of Barings’ Emerging Markets Corporate Group. Brigitte is the lead portfolio manager for this strategy, as well as the Emerging Markets Debt Short Duration strategy.. Brigitte has worked in the industry since 1992 and her experience has encompassed emerging markets structured credit, investment grade and high yield corporate bonds and loans. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, she was an executive vice president portfolio manager – head of emerging markets corporates at PIMCO. Before PIMCO, she was a managing director and head of Latin America securitization and trading at Deutsche Bank. She was previously a Director with Ambac where she was responsible for developing asset- and mortgage-backed securities in emerging markets. Prior to Ambac, she was vice president and senior credit officer with Moody’s Investors Service where she was responsible for rating asset- and mortgage-backed securities in Latin America. She also held positions in Sao Paulo, Brazil at Banco Inter-Atlantico/Credit Agricole, Citibank and ABN AMRO. Brigitte holds a B.A. from Mackenzie University of Sao Paulo.
