Electronification in repo is accelerating as expanded central clearing, sponsored access models and regulatory change reshape how funding and collateral are managed. Implementation of mandatory clearing requirements and growing platform connectivity are influencing liquidity access, balance sheet usage and operational design. As participation broadens and infrastructure evolves, repo is becoming more automated, more transparent and more strategically important to trading and treasury functions.
This working group will examine the structural drivers behind electronification, the practical implications for funding resilience and collateral optimisation, and how firms can position themselves to benefit from continued innovation in the repo market.
