Dave is Chief Commercial Officer at Net Purpose: a London-based technology start-up on a mission to make impact measurement effortless for all investors by 2025. Backed by clients with over $1tn in assets under management and leading investors like Illuminate Financial and former Chair of Goldman Sachs Asset Management Jim O’Neill, Net Purpose cleans, standardizes and structures data on the social and environmental outcomes of companies and investment portfolios. Clients of Net Purpose can effortlessly report in line with all global standards and goals, and accelerate our transition to a more sustainable world. An established commercial business leader with expertise across data and technology, Dave has experience through business lifecycles, ranging from early-stage start-ups, through growth, acquisitions and strategic sales. Dave was previously the COO for Financial Services at IHS Markit, providing data, tech and services across front, middle and back office of financial institutions. Prior to that, Dave was Managing Director and Global Head of Markit Analytics, and has experience on the buy-side and sell-side with ECM, Lehman Brothers and Dresdner.
