Francesco has over 10 years of experience investing in the financial markets, with a particular focus on fixed income. At Anima, he is Head of the Systematic Credit Strategies team, where he is responsible for the firm's systematic fixed income investments. He manages approximately EUR 4 billion across UCITS funds, including active systematic fixed income strategies that employ quantitative investment approaches to generate alpha. Before joining Anima, Francesco was a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager specializing in corporate credit at Shell Asset Management Company B.V., where he managed a US$4 billion U.S. investment-grade and high-yield portfolio. Prior to that, he worked as a Fixed Income Trader at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., serving as a Market Maker in Senior Credit, Covered Bonds, and SSA securities. Francesco holds a Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance and Insurance from the University of Turin and a Master's degree in Financial Markets and Regulation from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where he was part of the Duisenberg Honours Programme. He is also a CFA charterholder.
