James Chapman

James has been trading Credit since 1997.  Over the last 16 years, he has held managerial positions within trading teams at Deutsche bank and RBS as well as RBC Capital Markets.  James started his career as a Corporate IG Credit Trader and then went on to lead teams in HY, IG Cash, Credit Index and single name CDS.  James re-joined RBC in 2015 for a second term to run European Credit Trading where he developed the business to become a top tier performer in European Credit. James oversaw the deployment of trading technology, e-commerce and investment in RBC’s electronic trading capability which were all key factors in this successful transition. James is also a board member for the AFME Credit trading division.
