John Olivares

John has been the product manager for ICE ETF Hub since September 2020. Before joining ICE in 2020, John had a 13-year tenure at Bank of America spanning individual contributor and management roles in corporate actions, securities lending operations, regulatory and risk oversight, trades processing, clearing and settlement, ETF Authorized Participant services, and culminated as head of ETF operations for Merrill Lynch Professional Clearing Corp. John led various initiatives at Bank of America that helped it become one of the largest Authorized Participants in the US, and helped streamline BOFA’s ETF services in APAC. John also collaborated on street-wide initiatives throughout his career aimed at making ETF primary market processes more efficient. Prior to joining Bank of America, John was a Sergeant in the US Army and served as a combat medic in Operation Iraqi Freedom III and IV.
