Lee Williams

Head of ETF Trading, EMEA Bluefin Europe

Lee is the Head of Trading of Bluefin Europe. After graduating from Harvard in 1999 he joined the graduate programme of the Helios Group, which was subsequently bought by Bear Stearns in 2001. After 2 years as an Associate Director, he ran the fixed income options market making desk. In 2003 he left Bear to co-found Medway Capital Management, a leading Market Making firm specializing in listed fixed income and equity options, trading primarily in Eurex and LIFFE listed options. In 2007 Lee was part of the merger between Medway Capital and Bluefin, and was a founder of the new entity, Bluefin Europe LLP. He has remained as the head of Bluefin Europe, and has helped to grow out the ETF Market Making franchise across multiple asset classes.

A former footballer, Lee now spends his time watching England Test Matches or his beloved Fulham. He lives in Greenwich with his wife and three daughters.
