Deputy Head Index Fixed Income UBS Asset Management

Marco Bontognali is a portfolio manager in the Index Fixed Income team, leading the Zurich‑based Rates and FX portfolio management group. In this role he is managing and overseeing indexed, enhanced indexed, and rules‑based strategies. Marco joined UBS Asset Management in 2018. Prior to this, he worked in Vontobel Asset Management where he managed Swiss Franc and global fixed income portfolios including sustainable investment strategies. Marco holds the ‘Certified International Investment Analyst’ designation. He also holds the FRM certificate and is a CAIA charter holder.
