Matthew Harvey

Matt is the Head of Cross Product Sales and Development and is based in London. His role focuses on client facing sales in Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income and using his passion and industry expertise he drives both near term and strategic product development of NatWest Markets platform solutions for the benefit of clients. Matt started out as an Equities Trader at one of the world’s largest retail stockbrokers in 1995 during the explosion of retail ecommerce and equities automation. In 2001, he moved to Deutsche Bank on Wall Street during a time of unprecedented dealing floor automation before moving to e.ON energy trading where he led the re-location of process and systems across numerous trading businesses in overlapping asset classes to a single European dealing floor. In 2010, Matt re-joined Deutsche Bank where he led the product development of the Autobahn platform globally across Fixed Income and Currencies with a focus on e trading and pricing and execution platforms. Matt joined the Fixed Income trading team at NatWest Markets in 2017, overseeing client and sales automation strategy and delivery before moving to his current role.
