Sam Ratcliff is Head of Enterprise Engineering, responsible for the middle and back-office technology at Man Group. He is also a member of the Technology Management Committee.
Sam joined Man AHL in 2015 as a Quantitative Developer within the fixed income research team and moved to lead Research Technology within Man AHL in 2017. Between 2018 and 2024, Sam was Head of Execution Technology building a consolidated Execution capability across Man Group, including Algorithmic Execution. Between 2024 and 2025, Sam was Head of Order Management and Analytics Technology responsible for Order Management across Man Group and building a new strategic Order Management platform. Before joining Man AHL, Sam worked as a developer at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe in counterparty risk and convertible bonds trading.
