Sassan Danesh

Sassan is the Chief Executive Officer of Etrading Software (ETS) which is an independent, global provider of technology-led solutions built to address highly complex and constantly evolving market and regulatory challenges. ETS specialises in the provision of market and reference data used by international financial institutions. With over 30 years’ experience within the fixed income and derivatives markets, with reference data and also with regulatory services governance, Sassan has developed a deep understanding of the financial markets and the regulatory environments that underpin them. He is a member of the Financial Services Committee of the British Standards Institution (BSI), assisting in defining electronic standards for the UK financial services industry, and a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), assisting in the creation of electronic standards for the global financial services industry. Sassan has co-chaired the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) Protocol Committees on FICC and on Reference Data.

Prior to founding ETS in 2004, Sassan worked at JP Morgan for 11 years, building technology solutions to support the fixed income sales and trading businesses.
