Sid Swaminathan

Sid Swaminathan, Managing Director, is the Head of Core Portfolio Management (CorePM) EMEA within Global Fixed Income, responsible for EMEA Systematic Fixed Income (SFI) portfolios, partnering with SFI leadership on executing business and product priorities for EMEA and providing oversight of CorePM involvement with the Active Fundamental Fixed Income teams in EMEA. Mr. Swaminathan's service with the firm dates back to 2005, including his years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009. At BGI, he was a member of the Portfolio Solutions team responsible for managing Rates & Multi-Sector portfolios. Mr. Swaminathan earned a BS degree, with honors, in computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003 and a Masters degree in financial engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 2005.
