Thierry De Vergnes

Thierry joined Amundi as Head of European Bank Loans in June 2017, and led the launch of three institutional funds (including ABLE) and of one ELTIF fund, and he expanded the investor base from one French client to more than 30 European investors. He was promoted to the position of Managing Director European Bank Loans in July 2021 when relocating in Paris. Thierry is member of the ESG Committee of ELFA, the European Leveraged Finance Association. Prior to joining Amundi, Thierry de Vergnes headed the debt fund management activity of Lyxor Asset Management UK LLP that he had founded under the name of Egret Management LLP and managed for Société Générale until its sale at the start of 2017. Before that, he was co-head of Indosuez Capital, the New York Merchant Banking and Asset Management subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Indosuez, which he had joined in 1995. Thierry began his career in Paris at Indosuez in the credit department before exercising functions in the Corporate Finance department in Paris and then in London. Thierry is a Civil Engineer graduate from Mines and holds an Economist Engineer degree from the Institut Français du Pétrole and is registered with the Financial Control Authority in the UK.
