Tomas Zikas

Tomas Zikas serves as the Global Product Manager for Bloomberg’s Fixed Income Execution Management System (TSOX), responsible for the strategy, design and delivery of Bloomberg’s EMS solutions for fixed income, derivatives and futures including integrated access to a broad liquidity network. Mr Zikas has been a Product Manager with Bloomberg since September 2014.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mr Zikas served as the Head of e-Rates at State Street Bank & Trust from 2007-2014, providing electronic trading and trade-intermediation services for fixed income and derivatives.

Mr Zikas started his concentration in the field of electronic trading and associated workflows in 1999, having served as the Managing Director of an electronic trading venue for de-regulated energy commodities out of London and the United States, HoustonStreet Exchange (1999-2002). He also served as the Global Head of Sales, and Vice President for the Americas, for the electronic trading boutique software company, Trayport (2002-2006), followed by a short period as the Head of Business Development for the foreign exchange electronic trading platform Currenex before they were acquired by State Street in March 2007 (2006-2007).

Tomas Zikas holds a B.S. degree in Control Systems Engineering from the United State Naval Academy in Annapolis MD (1990) and a M.S. degree in Management from Boston University – London (1997). He served as an officer in the United States Navy (submarines) from 1986 – 1997.
